O' Rain

I wouldn’t run away
Or go under any umbrella or tree
‘Coz you’ve only come for me
From much far away

While most give you a warm welcome
You’re still uninvited by some
But I Ain’t among them
So, O’ Rain, please come

You’re a kind of a nature
That has no fears
For you pour on everything
And every other creature

Rushing out of the dark clouds
Still you have no colours
You’re the only wonder
That’s lucky to travel all over

Travelling miles and miles
On the clouds in the sky
Falling from up so high
Filling my face with full of smiles

Pure and beautiful in every drop
You’re the one whom I admire
Doing so always
Has always been my desire

At times, you may bring in dull
And sombre atmosphere
But hiking or biking with you
Is definitely a sure thrill

I’m filled with joy
When you embrace me
For you wipe off all my tears
And make my mind free

I wouldn’t run away
Or go under any umbrella or tree
‘Coz you’ve only come for me
From much far away

remembering my bike

which is pulsar

In the last few years, there've been three things very close to me. One of them is my bike, Pulsar. We have travelled together lots & lots, to near & far, in sun & rain, with plans & without plans. Now I'm missing it a lot since leaving my place. But I know for sure that I'll get it back when I'm back to Bangalore and we would do lot more bikings all over again. Meanwhile, here're some of the pics of my bike in the beautiful backdrops.

Bukit Timah

Finally, I summitted Bukit Timah, Singapore's highest peak, today along with other trek-mates. Although, its height is a mere 164mts ASL (2% of Mt.Everest's), BT (Bukit Timah) has had always been on my to-do-list for long time, simple reason being that it's highest peak in Singapore. Today, it was done as a part of fitness preparation for our Mt.Kinabalu trek due in coming June.

There are various trails in BT winding along the hill ranging from easy to hard level. The hill is fully densed with lush green tropical forest. We started our trek (can I call so?) from visitor's center covering Rock Path, Summit Path, North View Path and finally Jungle Fall Path, passing summit on the way in Summit Path. Since the whole trek took only an hour and we wanted still more, we made another round along the same trail making ourselves fully exhausted (??).

Although, BT is never considered by a hard core trekker, there's no reason it should not be done.

Bukit Timah, for a short & easy trek trail.

Note: Unfortunately, I went without cam. Will post the pics next time when I go with one.
