Drawing - Ta Prohm, Angkor

It's more than four months since I took up a pen and paper for drawing. Since it requires much patience & concentration, I kept on skipping. Today somehow made up my mind to control the wavering thoughts and bind myself to the chair. The effort of sitting for nearly an hour is not wasted though :-)

Midnight Photography

It is really a wonderful experience to do click click click in the midnights. Waaaaaoooouuw!! Although I've done lots of midnight biking in India, this is my first midnight photography and it really satiates my personal thirst of peaceful lonely night strolling :)

Now I've decided to do this very often and improve my photography skills to the furthest. Unlike this time, I must carry a tripod going forward to use it when required.

Loneliness

She is now with me
at this place, at this time.
India to Singapore, she flew with me
no visa, no ticket, still no crime.

She appears in no time
and disappears with no sign.
Don't know where she comes from
but her presence is sweeter than plum.

Biking or driving
trekking or travelling
at times, she shows her presence
leaving behind with me her essence

Known little to many
or hardly to any,
She has been not juz a good
but the best since my childhood.

She ensures that she's with me
when wishes turn to ashes
when dreams go to trashes
or when plans meet crashes

She flies to me in seconds
when loved ones care less
when ppl misunderstand me
or even when god disappoints me

She spends time with me
when nobody is there around
when in the sorrows, I'm drowned
or even when burden grows beyond bounds

let me do whatever
let me go wherever
She always reminds me that
She's there for me, forever

Flames of the sky

I couldn't avoid using my mobile phone to click this wonderful evening sky with golden orange flames like cloulds. It was so beautiful to look at that I really missed my camera :-(


This shot was taken yesterday (11th July) from Jurong East MRT station while returning from work. What an amazing sight. Waaaaaoooouuuw!!

Sylvester Stallone

Sylvester Stallone. One of my all time favourite heroes. The first movie that I ever saw in my life was his First Blood in 80's and started liking him since then. I have not watched much of his movies but few of them are my favourites like Rambo, Rocky, Cliffhanger, Victory (also known as Escape to Victory) and so.


Today (6th July) is his 62nd birthday and I still wish to see more wonderful action movies of him in the coming years.
